The Annapurna Base Camp which has been closed due to the pandemic is going to reopen from mid-September. The decision was made in view of the recent reopening of other tourist and religious sites in the country.

Dilip Gurung, the secretary of the Chomrong Tourism Entrepreneurs Committee, that they will open the trekking area of the ABC by adopting the required health guidelines for the safety of all. At the same time, the hoteliers, there, have also been planning to open their hotels as soon as possible, added Gurung.
