Construction work of Beni to Darbang road section resumes after five months.

Although, the assistant contractor- Datyaram Thapa had left the construction of the Beni-Darbang road network , midway about some six months ago, the construction work has now resumed after five months.

The current main contractor has taken charge of completing the upgradation work of the roadway from connecting Mangala, Malika and Dhaulagiri rural municipalities with Beni (district headquarter) respectively.The engineer of the contract company- Samanantar Construction Company; Mahendra Shah, shared that, 'In order to complete the road construction work, we have resumed the task by incorporating nearly 40 labourers, 6 excavators, 4 tippers , one each tractor and loader respectively since August 17'.

At the same time, as stated in RSS, 'The construction work have been expedited to meet a target of blacktopping the 12.5km long road within Mid-May 2022 where the contractor is planning to increase human resource and equipment to meet the target '.

On September 20, 2017 the contract was signed with a stipulated deadline of January 18, 2020 while the prescribed amount was around Rs 450 million. At present, 60 % of the progress in terms of construction can be seen as witnessed by Infrastructure Development Office which was again verified by RSS.
