Locals at Bagarphant village have been complaining about facing difficulties due to the lack of pure drinking water in the village for the past two months as the landslips in several places here have swept away various water pipelines forcing them to rely on the impure and unsafe water from the nearby wells and ponds. In fact, around 28 water taps in the village have been running dry, informed a resident at Bagarphant. As per, Krishna Bahadur Karki, the Bagarphant drinking water and sanitation project chair who spoke to RSS regarding the state where he was quoted as saying that, "We have had experienced this situation as before, but this time around due to the heavy incessant rainfall we cannot begin our repairement work immediately unless the rainfall stops completely because looking at the pace of damage, general repair is not adequate".
