UAE lifts travel ban on transit flights including Nepal from August 5.

In the light of pandemic,the United Arab Emirates earlier had banned many countries from South Asian and African regions transiting through its airport including Nepal.

The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NECMA) along with General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced yesterday that all passengers travelling from India, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uganda where inbound flights had been banned would be allowed to travel through its airport from August 5 provided they submit a negative PCR coronavirus test within 72 hours from the time of departure alongside a final destination approval letter.
