Six caught for cattle slaughter in Kaski.

Acting on a tip-off,District Police Office Kaski on Sunday arrested six people on the charge of butchering an ox, from the district.They were infact caught in possession of slaughtering tools.

Pokhara.

According to DSP Subash Hamal,the spokesperson at District Police Office Kaski, after receiving a tip-off regarding ox butchery,the arrestees- Jit Bahadur Tamang(27),Kul Bahadur Bishwokarma(56),Kumar Shrestha(39),Abhinash Tamang(21), Arun Tamang(27) and Sukmala Tamang(29) of Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-2 were held at around 9.30pm on Sunday along with tools used to behead the animal as well as for separating the meat.'The accused being booked under animal cruelty case are probed for further questioning as we have filed additional nine days from Kaski district court in order to undertake the investigation process, informed Hamal.
