Nepal's 91% populace has Internet access : NTA Report.

According to the report released by Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA), about ninety-one percent of Nepal's population has internet access wherein the web surfers have been using Nepal Telecom (9.590 million) and Ncell (2.462 million) for 3G internet services respectively. The report being drawn on the basis of population projection (2021-2030) took a total population of 29.876 million as a base.

One of the leading telecommunication regulatory body in the country-NTA in the report indicates, a total of 27.76 million internet users as of June 14. Also, 65.68 % (of the total internet users populace till mid-June) were found to have been using mobile phones for internet access.On the other hand, the number of 4G customers has been declining(7.664 million people as of mid-June) of late in contrast with 3G Internet service users (12.052 million people as of mid-June).
