The education, youth and sports section of the municipality , based on constitutional provision has prepared the localised curriculum book covering various contemporary issues in which the previous year's budget set by the rural municipality to develop curriculum was three lakh and about four lakh ninety-eight thousand on printing.

In Nepal,schedhule 8 of the constitution has given the authority to the local government for developing school level curriculum. Likewise, The education officer at the Annapurna rural municipal in Myagdi district, Ganesh Bahadur Katuwal, said,' With the intention of making the students well acquainted with the local history, geographical condition, cultural and religious aspects, lifestyle,the curriculum is going to be introduced from the new academic session for Grades 1-5 and includes- background of the municipality, indigenous culture, local natural resources, sports, religious spots, tourism, regional occupation, traffic rules, moral education , idols, local figures, natural disaster among other issues. Similarly, 1,000 books named as 'Hamro Gaupalika' for class one has been published.The book constituting texts (30%) and drawings(70%) has fourteen chapters and carries 100 marks.This rural municipality has about 36 community schools with approximately 250 first grade students.
