A teenager from Pokhara arrested for online betting .

On Tuesday,the district police office,Kaski based on a tip off,took a 18 year old boy into custody for his involvement in running the,'illegal online betting' on the ongoing Euro Cup 2020 alongside Copa America Football matches which are being held in Europe and South America respectively.

Pokhara.

The spokesperson at District Police Office,Kaski DSP Subash Hamal informed that the suspect Sulabh Subedi of Talchowk, Pokhara Metropolitan City-27 was arrested from a hotel in Lakeside,Pokhara.There,he was caught red-handed while he was using the social networking sites such as WhatsApp and Viber for the illict purpose.Moreover,the accused was booked under the gambling act just as he was found to be guilty on the grounds of conducting an immoral activity as well as going against the safety regulatory norms.Also,search for the other accomplice was in progress,added DSP Hamal.
