Mudslide swallows ambulance in Kaski.

A moving ambulance carrying an elderly patient was washed away about 100 metres down by a massive mudflow in Madi Rural Municipality of Kaski district.

Pokhara.

The chairman of the municipality,Bed Bahadur Gurung stated that,the ambulance with number plate, G 1 Jha 448; ferrying patient Goma Adhikari aged 83 from Mugrebesi, Madi Rural Municipality-9 towards Thumsikot was submerged after a heavy flooded Khahare rivulet filled with mud and debris displaced the vehicle. Driver Subash Adhikari while fleeing got severely injured and was referred to the hospital in Pokhara,the patient however couldn't survive the catastrophe.
