A special farewell programme was organised for Superintendent of Police (SP)Jeevan Kumar Shrestha as he leaves to hold the administration at the Narcotics Control Bureau,Kathmandu.
SP Shrestha,lead 1,000 police personel during his one year of service and simultaneously worked for the betterment of the police department as well as improving the quality of life of the public by effectively responding and countering felonies related to drugs abuse, women based violence,road accidents,theft, black marketeering,cyber crimes among other subjects in a time when the criminals are using the current situation to forge more misdeeds than ever.
Meanwhile,speaking at the ceremony,SP Shrestha said that,Kaski police had handed over 307 oxygen cylinder to the needy hospitals to overcome the shortage of the life saving gas for the COVID-19 patients plus relocated 147 homless people around the district to a much safer abode.Similarly, Nepal Police mobile app was launched to regulate the criminal activities alongside proving as a technology friendly service.
'The experience was very enriching but securing housing facilities to the police officers in Ghandruk, Naudada,Ghachowk, Nadipur, Ward Police Office, Baidam was the first of many things that I wanted to have finished during my time in the office,' revealed SP Shrestha.
Prior to his appointment at District Police Office, Kaski he was posted at Metropolitan Traffic Police Office,Kathmandu.
