Pokhara Metropolis resumes operation with ease of lockdown.

Earlier,The District Administration Office(DAO), Kaski had extended the lockdown till June 29 with relaxed Covid restriction orders,after a decline in the number of daily infected patients.

At the peak of the second surge of Coronavirus the lockdown in Pokhara came into effect from April 28 and has been extended several times since then,in which many offices remained shut except for some medical and essential services.

In pursuance with the DAO decree,The Pokhara Metropolitan City Office re-opens from today,on account of further easing of lockdown curbs.

The Chief Administrative officer, Mahesh Baral announced that besides the metropolis office, other departments as well as 33 ward offices have resumed their work where the officials are directed to follow requisite health safety measures while assuming the office since most of the divisions including the transport, land revenue office among others deal directly with the public.
