With a growing turmoil amongst the LP Gas Sellers Association Kaski because of delay in Covid-19 vaccination,they had submitted a memorandum to Thaneshwor Gautam, The Chief District Officer,Kaski on Thursday.

The president of the association, Bal Krishna Koirala had appealed to the administration for priority vaccination to the people associated in this sector too as the three tires of government had failed to prioritize them, when knowing that the working condition of this sector was fraught with danger in the wake of pandemic in a similar way that of any corona frontline warrior.
Similarly,secretary Kushal Poudel said that,'We have had been distributing the Liquefied Petroleum gas (LPG) to several customers ranging from general public,government employees to hospital workers among others, such that their livelihoods would not get affected during this difficult times, on the other hand we had been exposing ourselves to this constant threat since we came in contact with a number of people during the lockdown without knowing if the person was infected with the virus or not.' Poudel added that some 800 personel were regularly deployed for gas supply.
It has been estimated that, 350 dealers including both small and large scale distributors yield around 15,000 gasoline on a daily basis from 18 different companies across Kaski district .
