Gandaki Province government has decided to honour the diligent health personnel across the province with the 'Corona Frontier Excellent Service Award', keeping in mind their response and commitment for saving lives at the forefront of fighting against COVID-19 outbreak in an instrumental manner.

With no end in sight to the pandemic,eveyone has been affected in more than one way or another.However,the medical professionals including the doctors, nurses, staffs,paramedics inspite of their increased workloads in the most overstretched health services are putting their lives at risk to ensure the smooth ministration of the patients being afflicted with the deadly virus.

CM Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has assured to provide incentives as well as risk allowances to the health care workforce as quickly as possible(at 29 july preferably but if not then by 16 July)while addressing to the employees working in the Province Public Health Laboratory ,Gandaki on yesterday.

Pokharel,further indicated that the provincial government will utilize the alloted budget and resources for the institutional development.
