Residents of some places in Kaski and Tanahu district are  dealing  with the burnt of yesterday's storm that has caused an irreplaceable loss on their property.

The maize cultivated in the fields of Pokhara Metropolis- 32 and 33 including areas like, Gangangauda, Belbute,Malmul,Raja ko Chautara, Bagmara, Lamgadi and Puditar, among others were destroyed by the storms that occurred on Monday afternoon at 4.30 pm. A local, Bhakti Ram Subedi said that, ' The adverse weather has destroyed our fruitful source of income, this year.'

On the other hand, a storm which took place in the evening,has blown off the rooftops, of over dozen houses,damaged a school Himali Primary ,besides causing disruption of electricity supply system near the Dhorbarahi temple of  Shuklagandaki-9 in Tanahu district Meanwhile,it has further ruined the maize, banana and other vegetables farming in the district.Shibaraj Lamsal, a native pointed out that additional four houses roof as well as the solar plant of Barahi Primary School,  at Shuklagandaki-8 which was  completely destroyed by the strong wind.

The local representatives in both the district's stated that the exact details of the loss are yet to be collected. 

Seeing that, the pre-monsoon season has already begun in our country (March-May)while pre-monsoon rain activate from June to September wherein The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted rainfall with thunderstorm, today in Bagmati, Gandaki Province along with Province 1,2 respectively.
