In a bid to flatten the curve of COVID-19 infection rate, the Gandaki Province Government has assured to provide the vaccines to the public all over  the province while also mentioning few of the other preparedness plan's.

A day ago, Pokhara Tourism Council had handed over some essential health supplies to  The Chief Minister of the Gandaki Province, Prithvi Subba Gurung .

On that event ,CM Gurung opened up about the news of people dying due to technical error issue is very disheartening and as a government head, his foremost priority is public security so he is ensuring with his best efforts to supply the covid vaccine to everyone in the province. 

To cope up with the pandemic, the Western Regional Hospital under the Pokhara institute of health sciences has been designated as a COVID-19 hospital. The construction of the necessary health infrastructure has accelerated along with the upgraded health care facilities. The other issues related to the shortage of health personnel have also been addressed by the concerned authorities.

In the meantime, the provincial government is assured that they are quiet efficient on the production of medical oxygen whilst setting up oxygen plant in which they have released the following statement.

On May 21, CM Prithvi Subba Gurung had assumed his responsibility in the province Ministry of Health and Population whereupon a budget of Rs 500,000 had been alloted as a COVID-19 emergency response plan.

Furthermore , he shares his lists of agendas which includes:

• Operating covid infection clinic in all hospitals and sending the suspected patients for PCR or antigen testing and then isolating them.
• Giving counselling services to those isolated at home. 
• Filling all the cylinders available in the hospital and keeping the oxygen plant in current condition. 
• Directing the Covid designated Hospital directors, Director of Ministry of Health and Population,Head of District Health Office and District AyurvedaHospital, for the diagnosis, treatment,control and  prevention of Coronavirus infection as well as any problems related to shortage of oxygen.
• All 11 Health District offices will receive 5 lakh each for medicine distribution alongside  the filling and dispatchment of oxygen plant . 
• Reaching out the antigen test across all the villages in the province .
• District Hospitals will receive 5 lakh each to feed lunches to health workers, staffs, doctors who are undertaking treatment of such patients. 
• DCCMC will receive 2 lakh each for the Covid  management. 
• District Ayurvedic Pharmacy will receive  2 lakh each to increase public awareness. 
• Consultation and medical kit will be provided to those living in home isolation.
• PCR tests result would be made available within 24 hours after sample collections. 
• Offering psychological as well as medical ministrations to the patients. 
• Buying and storing vaccines and  disseminating them later on in all villages.
• Reconstruction of public health services in more scientific way while  reinforcing District hospitals.
