Amid the challenging situation brought by the ongoing weather adversity, a 24 year old female patient from Barpark,Sukikot-2 of Gorkha has been referred to Kathmandu via helicopter while two of them are taken to district hospital,Gorkha. 

Nani babu Dani,the public health superintendent of the Gandaki Province Health Directorate stated that the patient was brought in the health office in a severe state while undergoing treatment she experienced complications like difficulty in breathing,low oxygen count and urinary retention. Looking at the severity of her condition, with the help of Gandaki Province Government ,she was then dispatched to Kathmandu via helicopter.

A team of two specialist doctors and one each respective nurse,public health officer,counselor and medical officer from the Directorate of Health, Gandaki Province were sent in the region by the province government, who then had been treating the coronavirus infected patients as well as testing their samples  since yesterday(May 28,2021). 

The state government spokesperson,Ram Sharan Basnet also arrived at Barpark to analyse the situation as there were a growing complaints of people's infection with the virus. 

Meanwhile,the chairman of the Rural municipality,Bishnu Bhatta said that ,'Barkark has 1500 households plus we are going to every households in Tolatol and requesting people to get tested if they acquire any symptoms. '

About 600 people tested positive on yesterday's antigen test while 10 people died last week and some patients are kept in the village isolation center while the critically ill patients are sent to Pokhara,Bharatpur.

Bhatta further explained that,'To carry the serious patients, we have arranged separate ambulances and the distribution of the medicines is also carried out simultaneously. But, all our effort is falling short as the virus is spreading rapidly in the village.
