In all the 11 districts of Gandaki Province the health insurance Program has been covered where 475,000 people have been insured thus far.

In all districts of Gandaki Province, the health insurance Program has been carried out. Jiblal Kharel, the coordinator of the Health Insurance Board in Gandaki Province expressed; 'We have already implemented the program in all of the 11 districts of the province where since Wednesday we have also covered up for the only remaining districts Manang and Mustang.'

According to Kharel, 'In the province, 475,000 people have done their insurance up to now. Those included in the list are 64,000 elderly and 7,700 penurious people who have been insured'

Meanwhile, The government has been keeping up with the good work while providing free insurance services to elderly and absolute needy people.
