The Government of India provided a grant of 36.30 million Nepali Rupees for the construction of a new building of a school located in Dhand Bensi, Pokhara Metropolitan City-13, Kaski.

The new building of Shree Arwa Bijaya Secondary School was inaugurated by Namgya C. Khampa, Charge'd Affaires, Embassy of India, Kathmandu where the school project is one such initiative undertaken as a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) by India-Nepal Development Cooperation in Education Sector. It is to be noted that this year, around 57 HICDP have been initiated in the Gandaki Province where in Kaski district alone, some 11 projects have been completed. Moreover, the HICDP encompasses various sectors like health, sanitation, drinking water, education among other's where the government of the neighboring country ensures that the people from the grassroot level of all 7 provinces of Nepal have access to the public utilities.
