    SSP Sudip Giri has taken charge as the Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan Police. Giri, who is in the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police, has assumed command of the premises from today.

    SSP Ashok Singh has been transferred to Bhairahawa Airport. Police spokesperson SSP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar informed that Giri has assumed the responsibility of the campus head from today.
