Due to the flooded Marshyangdi river, in the early few months of this year there were many incurring damages around the district of Manang resulting into the loss of human settlements.

The Ministry of Economic Development,Gandaki Province provided a relief package worth Rs 200,000 for each damaged households which has been marked as seventy-four houses that were severely destructed by the natural calamity that occurred in Manang, as shared by the CDO of the district.However, the families of partially damaged houses are yet to be received the compensation.
