Monetary relief distributed to minors affected by Covid-19 in Gandaki.

The Gandaki Province Government has distributed a monthly package of Rs 5,000 for under 18 children whose parents had lost their battle to the deadly virus and so in order to support for their education, this strategy has been put forward.

As per the scheme proposed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, Technology and Social Development, the children need to submit the documents related to the certificate or report showcasing that their deceased parents life was taken away due to Covid as well as details of guardian, school and other ward office recommendation , hospital based record,among various paper works.Similarly, at a programme organised on Thursday, the CM of the province had distributed the amount to such 60 children. Even though, the provincial government was given names of 170 children, out of which 8 were already 18 and above and the remaining ones were being verified while reviewing the abovementioned documents of these children.
