Prompt air service delayed due to bad weather.

This morning owing to low visibility as aroused by the thick fog, the flights to destinations like Pokhara, Tumlingtar and Janakpur from Kathmandu was delayed since many regional airports had not been opened on time. Besides, these route other domestic flights was not affected, as such.

Apart from that, the number of travellers travelling via the Tribhuwan International Airport has increased as the statistics shared by the officials which confirmed that, at present,286 domestic flights have been operated daily through 9 airlines company carrying approximately 15,378 passengers from and to the capital city of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu.
