About Four fifths of people in Chitwan are vaccinated.

'Even though the statistics say that around 80% of the people in the district have received the vaccination, the inoculation drive has not been geared into the rural places thereby making it mandatory for the local government to launch effective vaccination campaigns in this areas', as stated by the Family Welfare Division Chief to RSS.

As per the data provided by the District Public Health Office, Chitwan to RSS, so far the number of the people who have received the first shot of the jab is around 311,889 whereas 259,977 people are fully vaccinated.Likewise, all three types of vaccines such as Covidshield, Vero Cell and AstraZeneca have been given to the masses.
