An avalanche which took place at Manapathi Mountain, Thasang Rural Municipality-2 , Mustang leaves nearly 120 yaks and chauri gai missing as well as the disruption of road along Beni-Jomsom road.

The Chief District Officer who had spoken about the matter to RSS confirmed that owing to the disaster, other farm animals like cows, buffaloes who had gone for grazing in the forest are also reported to be missing while the shepherds are all fine and other than that no human causalities have been confirmed thus far. However, the ones who have had sustained injuries have already received medical treatment in Jomsom.
