Nearly Rs 8.755 million worth paddy crops destroyed in Gandaki.

Due to the torrential rains which has been occurring from the past few weeks (since October 17) has resulted into the loss of almost 3,035 metric tonnes of paddy crops around many districts of Gandaki Province like Kaski, Syangja, Tanahu, Nawalparasi (East) and Parbat respectively and the total estimation is roughly around Rs 8.755 million.

As per the data provided by the district based Agriculture Knowledge Centre to RSS, In Gandaki, the unseasonal rains has submerged more than 3,000 tonnes of paddy crops where the crops planted on 7,112 hectares of land suffered partial damage against the planted crops on 843 hectares that saw complete destruction.
