Monetary aid for landslide, flood victims.

A meeting of the National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management chaired by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba have jointly decided to provide immediate relief and compensation to those survivors who have been badly hit by the natural disaster across different regions in the country.

As per the decision, the government will provide Rs 500,000 for the construction of the damaged houses which has been badly damaged by the natural disaster and for those who have got severe injuries will receive free treatment. They have also assured to give financial assistance within the range of Rs 200 thousand to Rs 300 thousand and Rs 20,000 based on the type of households which lost how many numbers of its family members.
