2021 SAAF Championship runner-up team warmly welcomed at TIA.

The government have taken a decision to support the players of the National Football Team by giving them Rs 5 lakh each and similarly the coaches will also receive Rs 3 lakh each as because of their outstanding performance during the recent South Asian Football Federation(SAAF)Championship which was held in Male.

All the well-wishers and supporters along with the Minister of Youth and Sports and other officials from ANFA's were seen at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to receive the Nepali football team who had exhibited a groundbreaking performance as in the entire 28 years , Nepal was able to secure a place in the final match against India proving that the team has come a long way and if all the resources are with them, then it won't be impossible for Nepal to lift the trophy of SAAF Championship in near future. Meanwhile, the local government of Kushma Municipality, Parbat have announced to honour the players by providing them with a cash price of Rs 2 lakh each.
