Ghandruk jeep accident takes away several lives.

This afternoon, a total of eight people (seven passengers and the driver)of a Bolero jeep met with an accident at Ghandruk that has resulted into the loss of these innocent lives while a single survivor sustained some injuries.It has been said that after losing control, the vehicle reportedly fell off the road.

The Gandaki Province Police Office gave a brief statement that the inevitable accident took place when driver Khushiman Chettri (42) along 8 other passengers were going towards Ghandruk in Ga 1 Ja 6900 registered jeep suddenly fell off the road at Khaldanda, Annapurna Rural Municipality-11, Kaski. However,only one person has survived from this tragic incident as 20-year-old Devika Ghising was discovered from the cliff onto which she was hanging on and was later rescued by the team of locals and the police force.Meanwhile, the identities of the deceased have been revealed as Liza Chaudary, 20 Suman Chaudhary, 20, Achutam Kafle, 22, Ashish Ale, 18, Binay Chettri , 27, Suja Chaudary, 24 , Jinalav Ghising, 18.
