The eight youths from Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-1, Kaski tasted success on October 3 as they were able to reach the summit of Mardi Himal.

With an intent to promote tourism and trekking in the famous trail, the climbers namely-Saroj Kumar Gurung, Sanjaya Thapa, Narayan Gurung, Sudip Tamang, Binod Pun, Bishal Magar, Ishwor Pariyar and Amrit Pun had climbed the 5587m tall peak of Mardi Himal on last Friday at 9.30 am.
