Home Minister Khand stops by the flood-fed regions in Manang.

On this very day, Home Minister Balkrishna Khand visited the flood-affected place in Manang where Rabindra Prasad Acharya-the Chief district officer (CDO) among other officers had received him and also gave him a tour of the area. Likewise, the Home Minister was also given details about the wavelength of the many destructed public services.

Home Minister Khand while inspecting the areas had called the government officials and security chiefs to immediately commence the rebuilding and reconstruction of the many infrastructural damages as the people here have already suffered a lot of difficulties due to the natural havoc. On the other hand, the representatives of the local government shared about their restoration plans but at the same time were looking forward to garner assistance from the central government where they could utilise the resources for the survivors and aid them such that they could stand back at their feet again.
