Gandaki CM discourses about the role of Nepal Police for the citizens safety.

In an event which took place today to mark the 66th Police Day, CM Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel applauded the bravery of the police forces and simultaneously spoke word of thanks to the matyrs and some outstanding employees. Likewise, he handed out some cash support to their family members.

On the occasion, CM Pokharel was quoted as saying," The Nepal Police since its inception has been playing an instrumental role to maintain peace and order in the country and also for safeguarding the rights of every other citizens where even during the pandemic they were working diligently inspite of the limited resignation which is again commendable". Also, in connection with Police Day, Mohan Prasad Pokhrel, the Senior Superintendent of Police, wished the Inspector General of Police. On the other hand, DIG Dibesh Lohani said that, Nepal Police will always be operating suitably while providing assistance to the people of all kinds and subsequently serve the nation with full fairness and uprightness based on their work ethics and integrity. This, he believes will strengthen the institution .
