UNDP Nepal-RR during a meeting with CM of Gandaki Province has given her word to effectively contribute towards poverty alleviation program in the province.

According to,Ayshanie Medagangoda-Labè, the Resident Representative of UNDP Nepal, the Human Development Index of Gandaki Province was very much impressive and that she was willing to support the provincial government in their endeavor and strengthen some 200,000 people living under poverty line by the year 2030. Meanwhile, CM Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel was hopeful about garnering enough support from UNDP to develop small and medium enterprises, localise Sustainable Development Goals as well as to implement projects related to modernisation of agriculture and in the innovation sector. CM Nepali, again shared the idea with Ayshanie regarding the establishment of a regional office of UNDP such that it would again boost and mitigate the anti-poverty activities in the province.
