Keeping in view of the decision made by Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre(CCMC),the religious temple of Muktinath will be opened from today.

Due to the pandemic, the temple was closed since the month of April of this year. However, the CCMC and security committee of the District Administration Office, Mustang on September 21 had uplifted the ban and gave permission of the reopening. Srinath Poudel, the chief district officer who also chairs Muktinath Development Committee, explained that, anyone visiting the temple including the locals and visitors from other places must submit a negative PCR or antigen test and vaccination proof. Likewise, the foreigners are expected to present a 7 day valid RT-PCR report.
