Journalist's association submit memorandum demanding withdrawal of media bill in Pokhara.

The Federation of Nepali Journalists(FNJ), Kaski and FNJ Gandaki Province have submitted a memorandum to the Ministry of Communications and appealed the ministry to not pass the media bill in the assembly.

With the news of the media bill being tabled at the provincial assembly in Gandaki, various journalists have asked for the withdrawal of the bill which has been understood as nothing but curtailing press freedom with its anti-press provisions like from controlling the press right of expression to the unjustified imprisonment of journalists.
