Gandaki Province CM stresses on making election economical.

Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel of Gandaki Province attended a special program at Pokhara which was organized by Policy Research Institute alongside the coordination of Election Commission Nepal.

Nepal Law Campus, also coordinated to conduct the event which was named as, 'Improvement in Election System' wherein prominent figures such as civil society and government officers, political party members, media personnel, among others had graced the event.

Similarly, CM Pokharel opined that,the election process needs to function in a fair and transparent manner in order to strengthen the democracy of our country such that the current need of the hour is to organize elections as per adequate measures without wasting too much money or resources as nowadays the reality is a lot different as the leaders tend to spend exorbitantly without any realization which can be misleading because there are many aspirants who want to join politics but they do not want to appear as a candidate knowing that election is pretty costly.
