It all started ,when Gandaki Province assembly member,Krishna Thapa representing Rastriya Janamorcha after he won election at Baglung 1(B), had gone against his own party's decision to support the opposition party. His rejection didn't end quite well, since he was overthrown from his position.

On May 8, Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung had resigned from his post and was even approved by the governor,Sita Poudel. Following that, Poudel as the province chief had appealed to other political parties to form a new government within three days of Gurung's resignation. It is to be noted that Gurung had tendered his resignation letter, a day before ,his scheduled no-confidence motion voting in the provincial assembly which was registered by 28 promulgators back in April 16 .

It was then decided that a new government will be formed in Gandaki Province based on the alliances made by the three parties including the Nepali Congress,CPN Maoist Centre and Janata Samajbadi Party. Rastriya Janamorcha Party,too joined forces with them.The name of Krishna Chandra Pokharel from Nepali Congress was considered as a replacement for Prithvi Subba Gurung.The Province with 60 lawmakers constitutes 28 CPN(UML),17 Nepali Congress,12 CPN Maoist Centre and 2 Janata Samajbadi Party members respectively.

However,the opposition party failed to prove majority vote when Krishna Bahadur Thapa and Khim Bikram Shahi of Rastriya Janamorcha with 3 members denied to give any vote in their support for the formation of new government. With all that,on May 12, according to the Article 168(2) of the Constitution,Prithvi Subba Gurung was reappointed as the CM of Gandaki Province. Another leader Shahi,meanwhile was admitted at a hospital on the day of the meeting owing to his health condition but speaking from the hospital he led his support to Gurung led government .An independent candidate Deepak Manage, similarly aided CM Gurung. 

The drama just began to unfold when Krishna Bahadur Thapa was given a removal letter (May 12)sent by the Central office as well as Gandaki Province Party of Rastriya Janamorcha,ousting him from his duty as a lawmaker which had been registered in the Gandaki Province assembly secretariat.

Yesterday (June 3,2021), there was a meeting conducted in the province assembly where the speaker Netra Nath Adhikari briefly awared everyone present about Thapa, who had lost his seat at the assembly owing to his dismissal by his party on the grounds of disobedience that was confirmed by Hari Prasad Pokharel, the secretary of the assembly secretariat.He was shown out from his post in accordance with  the Constitution of Nepal,Political Party Act (2073) and Gandaki Province Province's Assembly Regulation Act (2074) respectively.

But, Thapa didn't submit to the party's choice as today, he has registered a formal written petition at the Supervision court clearly mentioning that without the rightful protocols followed, he was expelled from the parliament , still he has not turn his back against his role as an enforcer to the party and has demanded his vacant post. Earlier ,there was a press release in the social media which was misleading as said by Piyari Thapa wherein she pointed that it read as,'Krishna Bahadur Thapa ',whereas he doesn't have any middle name. However,Thapa didn't comment about it which can be seen below:
