Rizwan Alam, the absconding accused in the fraud case, who was chased away from the VIP room of Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday, has been arrested from the Marriott Hotel in Naxal. Alam, who came from Dubai, was chased away by Muslim Commission Chairman Samim Mian Ansari by using the airport's VIP room.

A team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Alam from Marriott on Friday night. SP Krishna Koirala said that he was arrested and handed over at the airport on the basis of a letter from the airport police. Rizwan has been kept in the custody of Gaushala circle.

Muslim Commission Chairman Ansari took Rizwan to Marriott Hotel from there in his own car. The passport was left behind without permission of arrival by the immigration. After it was revealed that he was blacklisted in the immigration system, Ansari took Rizwan out of the VIP room as soon as the letter was sent to make him appear.

Ansari has claimed that he does not know Rizwan. When he was with her, the police arrested him. The police claim that the fugitive accused was systematically driven away through the VIP room along with four people who came from the UAE at the invitation of the Muslim Commission. Airport Civil Aviation Office is also investigating the incident.

Rizwan, who had been living in Dubai for a long time, cheated Dawood Hussain. The police had filed a case in the district court last Baisakh on the basis of Johri's claim that he had cheated Hussain's son of Rs 16.8 million by saying that he would teach him to become a pilot in Dubai. In which Rizwan has been made an absconding accused.

The police are preparing to take action against the arrested Rizwan for violating immigration rules and submit him to the court. The police officer says that an investigation will also be conducted against Muslim Commission Chairman Ansari in the incident of driving away the accused.
