PM Modi to visit Lumbini on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive on May 16 and will likely show his attendance alongside PM Sher Bahadur Deuba at the inauguration of Lumbini International Convention Centre.

The newly built convention centre on the World Heritage Site can accommodate almost up to 5,000 persons and was constructed under the Lumbini Development Master Plan. Moreover, the building is said to be made with sound facilities and could be featured as a mediation centre, too.
