Clash between Nepali Congress and CPN UML cadres ahead of the upcoming local election, in Tanahu.

As reported by the District Police Office, Tanahu, Yam Bahadur Thapa, of Nepali Congress was beaten up by Bhuwan BK, the cadre of CPN UML.

The incident took place when Thapa, the president of rural municipality was present in an all-party meeting where the sudden cause of the outburst is yet to be known as all of the parties representatives of the rural municipality were discussing about the death of a child in that municipality which then resulted into a chaos as well as crowd pushing. Moreover, the president of Nepali Congress Tanahu, Jit Prakash Ale has asked for an investigation while has demanded a strict punishment against the culprit.
