Installation of walk-in cooler to store vaccine in Gandaki Province.

To strengthen the vaccine storage facility around Gandaki Province, a new walk-in cooler has been installed at the district health office, Baglung while making into the list of other four walk-in coolers found across the province's health institutions.

Khim Bahadur Khadka, the provincial health director opined during a installation programme that the cooler was built at the expense of Ministry of Health and Population where the refrigerators (10) used for storing vaccines would be sufficient for other districts like Parbat, Manang, Mustang,Myagdi. It is said that, approximately 5 million doses of vaccine could be stored there.
