34 rihnos have died since mid-July.

According to RSS, 34 rhinoceros have been declared dead in this past 9 months of the current fiscal year which started on mid-July.

The information officer of CNP who had revealed the reason to RSS, shared that cause of the deaths have been related to poaching, ageing, tiger attacks, natural calamities, mutual fighting and some died after falling into swamps and pits. Moreover, in previous fiscal year, 33 rhino deaths were recorded.
