Land ownership certificates distributed to landless squatters in Tanahu district.

The two municipalities namely the Shuklagandaki and Bandipur Rural Municipality have given the certificates to those nesters residing in Tanahu district.

The National Land Commission has supported those two municipalities wherein a total of 930 settlers of Shuklagandaki Municipality-7 had filed for an application with the work related to details verification has also subsequently started. It is to be noted that in all the 12 wards of Shuklagandaki Municipality there has been 4,403 number of applicants had signed for petition while in Bandipur Rural Municipality , 74 people have been awarded with the certificate and 130 landless people of Ward number 4 and 5 have received it.
