Bird flu detected in Kaski district.

The Department of Livestock Services (DoLS) has reported the detection of bird flu in Kaski district as well various other 12 districts of the country.

Apart from Kaski district of Gandaki Province, DoLS has detected the avian flu outbreak in the following districts such as;

Province 1 = Morang, Udaypur and Sunsari

Madhesh Province = Bara, Parsa and Dhanusha

Bagmati Province = Chitwan, Makwanpur, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Sindupalanchowk

Moreover, the department has requested the public to be more careful regarding this matter and further appealed the poultry farm owners to remain alert and act cautiously and not transfer the infected birds from the infection site.
