PMC organizes the very first national conference of judicial committee.

The event saw the representation of judicial committee chiefs and members from all 753 local levels among other prominent figures.

The conference being organized by the metropolitan office judicial committee was inaugurated by President Bidya Devi Bandari at Pokhara City Hall. Apart from discussing the key benefits of establishing such type of provision formulated within our constitution that has further enabled the public to reach out to the concerned authorities for any matter and moreover brought significant number of changes into the lives of the people seeking justice through working along the lines of collaborating and coordinating well between instititutions like the district administration , police and court. Similarly, President Bhandari shared the need of utilizing the resources and infrastructures with a well managed manpower, too. Likewise, other important figures like the Province Chief, Chief Minister, Assembly Members, Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City ,Office (PMC) as well as other leaders gave insights about the initiation of judicial committee and the possible ways to mitigate with the challenges associated with it.
