Minister Ale expresses gratitude after the Chinese construction company completed the construction of the much awaited international airport in Pokhara.

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale in a ceremony to mark the handing over of Pokhara Regional International Airport by CAMCE- the construction company of China to the government of Nepal has emphasized the role of tourism here in shaping the economy as well as has invited the potential investor so as to develop the place as the tourism capital of the nation.

As stated by the officials , although majority of the construction of the airport has been completed as accounted for about 93% , they are hopeful to finish the other remaining portions too since the deadline was earlier pushed for a year than the estimated timeline of July, 2021.Moreover, Minister Ale was looking forward to operate the airport as soon as possible because of the positive prospects associated through this airport which could altogether bring a catalyst change for the development of tourism in Nepal. Meanwhile, he showed courtesy to the chairman of the construction company and has called out the entrepreneurs to invest wisely in building infrastructures and work along the promotional activities to attract more visitors due to the fact that now through an easy access people from all over the world would be arriving to the lake city once all the preparations to run the airport gets completed.
