Gandaki Province Government mandates buying of new vehicles on the basis of engine capacity.

Prior to this, vehicles were earlier purchased on their price value but now 3,000 cc automobiles could only be brought.

The new provision has set the following rule where the subordinates of Gandaki Province, including the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Deputy Speaker, Parliamentary Leaders, among others would be driving in the vehicles within the engine capacity range of 2300 cc to 3000 cc and not beyond the capacity of 3000 cc.
