Deposition of licensed firearms before the election: DAO Kaski.

Ahead of the local election which is slated to take place on May 13, any ammunition holder is requested to deposit the arms to the authorities and so would be getting their ammunitions back after the election is over.

The District Administration Office (DAO), Kaski in it's official statement has formulated the rule according to the election code of conduct so as to prevent any possible form of violence during the pre or post poll.Moreover, the firearms need to be deposited in the nearest police stations by the licensed arms holder till April 5 which is fifteen days after the issued order on March 21.
