About 7 million children to be administered vaccine against typhoid.

Starting from the 8th of April, the children mainly who fall under the age groups of 12 months and uptill 15 years will be administered with the vaccine against typhoid as a part of the campaign launched by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population.

The nationwide campaign which will run for one month long would cover as much as around 7 million children under the stated category. Moreover, the disease is widely spread in the areas which are poor in sanitation as well as lack of pure drinking water facilities.
