Second Municipality Level Adolescent Girls' Conference Conducted in Myagdi.

The first edition of the conference took place last year in Beni, the district headquarter of Myagdi district while the second conference was held at Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-7, Takham,Myagdi yesterday.

The conference funded by the Girls First Fund saw the 28 participants of adolescent girls networks representing 11 educational institutions of local levels and the main purpose of the event was to adopt a 12 point declaration that covered the sensitive topics related to early (child) marriage, violence against women and the measures to promote menstrual hygiene, safeguarding children's right to quality education among other prominent issues.
