Mustang avalanche kills 15 yaks.

Last year, similar incident had occurred when an avalanche from the Manapathi Mountain (Tukuche peak) saw several number of yaks and other cattles killed and missing .Also, pupils and teachers of Amar Singh Secondary School, Kowang were left with bruises after escaping from there.

On March 5 at 3 am morning , an avalanche took place at Chiplung Karkha killing 15 yaks who were owned by NarPrasad Gauchan and Sushila Gauchan at Kowang,Thasang Rural Municipality-2. On the other hand, an additional number of yaks (10) had gone missing because of the avalanche. Likewise, the details of the damage has been collected by the police, veterinary staffs and the herdsmen.
